Study hour just got really cool. Likely you’re overdue for a trip to the library, and this library doesn’t have too many rules. Study snacks never tasted so good and they specialize in chef-curated brain food that doubles as food for the soul. Their archives include a daily beverage list that will not only compliment a meal, but each drink has a story behind it.

Inspired by Portland’s love for good books and brews, the Library Tap House & Kitchen, provide much needed space for the community to come together safely. They are not your typical library – they encourage conversation as they believe the best stories are told over a handcrafted meal. Their bookshelves are stacked with over 100 of the best local and regional craft beers and their signature library cocktails. With the help of “librarians”, they find the perfect drink for you from over 100 of the best local and regional craft beers on tap, draught wines, hard ciders, Library signature cocktails, kombucha, and other non-alcoholic craft offerings.

The Library Taphouse is located on Portland State University’s campus (Go Viks!) and inspired by studious neighbors whose objective was to open a library that students would look forward to studying in!

The food looks delicious and perks your appetite just viewing the photos on the website. The perfect menu options and happy hour choices inspire a visit. The website offers ease for patrons to book a table, make a reservation, maps and directions and ways to easily contact the Taphouse.
