Blue Zenith Design + Strategy is a digital marketing firm currently looking for a Part-Time Social Media Marketing Specialist. This is a new position within our growing firm. Currently we have a need for about 8-10 hours a week (approximately 40 hours a month). The position is remote work. Our company is located in Centennial Colorado, in the Mountain Time zone. The ideal candidate will enjoy working within a company that is constantly trying to build and deliver digital marketing solutions for entrepreneurial and small to mid-sized businesses.

The Part-Time Social Media Marketing Specialist’s responsibilities will include:
Professional representation in all interactions with clients
Creating and managing an editorial calendar for social media for each customer you are assigned.
Ensuring your clients social media accounts stay connected in the scheduling tools.
Collaborating with the marketing team to develop strategies that get results.
Working with the customer and our marketing team on designing, scheduling, and managing marketing efforts.
Proofreading your content before presenting to the customer for approval.
Monitoring social media customers, to ensure that their social media is being properly posted.
Education and Experience
Ideal Candidates will:
Have 2-3 years’ experience in managing social media
Be experienced in content drafting (examples are requested)
Have an understanding of how to write for different customer accounts, audiences, and voices
Have a solid understanding of marketing foundations: target audience, marketing goals, and the role that social media plays in meeting those goals
Have the ability to work independently to meet deadlines
Be highly organized and detail oriented
Have high energy and a positive personality
Have worked with various customers and industries
Have worked with Canva to design the visual assets for your social media campaigns
The ideal person will be:
A motivated self-starter and proactive problem solver
A good communicator, with excellent English skills: reading, writing and speaking
Honest, taking ownership of issues to resolution when problems occur
Able to work both independently and collaboratively, always behaving in a positive and professional manner
Organized, following systems and processes, and have good time management skills
Direct, handling miscommunications and issues in a professional and direct manner
Able to handle high intensity environments

familiar with WordPress
familiar with Clockify
familiar with ActiveCampaign
familiar with Hootsuite
Benefits and Compensation
This position is an hourly position and pays between $24 and $27 an hour. The right candidate will receive an offer based upon specific candidate experience. All successful candidates will be required to pass criminal background checks as a requirement for employment.
